Nous existons ? Nous existons… Nous existons!
History has brought us from far away, from nothing. Nothing exist before we existed. The look of the world was nothingness, then appeared the matter, particularly alive and fertile. Molds symbolize life, they represent the emergence of the beginnings of life and the reuse of fallen matter.
As an artist working with the living, this led me to question my past self which was not yet influenced by the world. This almost totalitarian autonomy of self- creation allowed me to question my own nature as a human being.
My process of creation through photography and sculpture, offers to mold all its letters of nobility. The photos and sculptures composed of organic and perishable materials are orchestrated around the decomposition of matter.
My installation “Nous existons? Nous existons… Nous existons!” involves a pathway of different points of view.
Fata morgana

It is a place where fantasy takes shape. The size of the image allows for the abstraction of organic figuration. This creates a free environment for fiction. Through the deconstruction of the material, it brings us to the root of the individual.

This series of images will immerse you in a narrative context. This function that the woman and the mold have been given to repopulate, is revealed in the images as new life. Both repopulate and both nourish.

The sculptures position us in front of the confrontation. The often-repulsive characteristics lead me to want to value mold. Throughout my process I have learned to consider the material highly by distancing myself from conventional pedagogy. Thus, giving mold the merit to be cherished.
